Driving into the direction of the Cap Griz-Nez, you will pass the village of Framezelle You have passed already one of the big Vf ammunition bunkers along the road.
The whole Stützpunkt lies divided over several bushes, meadows and farmland locations.Not all of them are easy or allowed to enter freely. Some of the roads are only one-way streets and that makes it difficult to come close to the part you like to visit. Therefore the best way to start is from the village of Audinghen over the Rue du Cimetière, where you probably have visited before Stp.181 Rattenfänger.
This was a beautiful battery, but now a days it is heavily damaged because the big gun casemates have been blown up after the war, by explosion tests performed by the Allies. The Germans installed during the war four 28cm SK/L 45 guns in huge S414 Ständiger Bunkers, with a 360 degrees firing field with a theoretical maximum distance range between 20 and 39 km's.
